Gorse Hill, Stretford
Gorse Hill, Stretford
No more noise. No more dust.
Thomas Street in Gorse Hill, Stretford is currently the site of excessive noise, dust and heavy vehicle traffic. At the old Gas Tower site, Cheshire Soils & Aggregates Limited and Grabs R Us have set up their operations and have said it will be their permanent home.
They bring construction debris to the site, where they crush and process it to resell. It causes dust, noise, debris and traffic from heavy lorries. The business activities are completely inappropriate for the location and residents have real health concerns about the dust being produced. This website is for our residents and business owners to share their concerns.
